Resources and creators

The marketplace lets creators publish prompts, plugins, skills, and service offers. Resources require editorial approval. Approval is not a guarantee of quality, security, compatibility, ownership, income, or a particular AI output. We distinguish creator resources from the independently curated build catalog.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to purchase or sell a resource. Use your own account. Read the description, license, compatibility, permissions, and support information before obtaining a resource. Contact hello@astra.directory if material information is missing.

Free resources and paid purchases

Free resources are added to your library when you select Get this resource. Paid checkout is available only when creator payments are open and the creator has completed payout verification. Preparing or publishing a paid listing does not itself enable payment.

Where paid checkout is available, prices are in USD. The final charge, including any applicable tax, is shown before payment. Astra’s creator commission is 5% of the resource price excluding tax; Stripe processing fees are separate. We do not add Astra’s seller commission as a hidden buyer charge.

A purchase is confirmed when the payment provider verifies successful payment and Astra records access. Visiting a success page does not establish payment. Your library contains the approved version at the time you ordered, its license, and instructions. Later revisions do not silently replace your purchased version. A confirmation is sent to your account email; Stripe provides the payment receipt.

Your license and digital access

The license displayed with the resource governs your permitted use. Obtaining a resource does not transfer ownership of the creator’s intellectual property unless its license expressly says so. Do not redistribute, resell, or share paid content outside that license. Open-source licenses continue to govern the material they cover.

Before a paid purchase, we ask for your express consent to immediate digital supply and acknowledgment that your statutory change-of-mind cancellation right is lost when supply begins. If you do not agree, do not start checkout. This does not remove rights relating to faulty, misdescribed, inaccessible, or unlawfully supplied content.

We do not promise permanent hosting or future updates unless the listing states a commitment. Keep a personal copy permitted by the license. Unpublishing a listing normally preserves existing buyers’ access. We may suspend access for a refund, dispute, security issue, infringement report, or legal obligation, and provide a support route.

Problems, cancellations, and refunds

For a missing download, duplicate charge, inaccurate description, or another problem, use Report a concern in your library or email hello@astra.directory with your purchase number. Explain the issue and the remedy you seek. We review it with the creator where appropriate, without limiting your statutory remedies.

We can issue a full purchase refund through the payment provider. A full refund ends download access; a partial refund normally preserves it. Disputed payments pause access while the dispute is reviewed. The time until money appears in your account depends on your bank and payment provider. Services agreed outside Astra checkout are not covered by this digital purchase process.

Services begin with a conversation

Service listings and private quote requests introduce clients to creators. Astra does not take service bookings, collect service payments, hold funds in escrow, guarantee delivery, or take a commission on these conversations. A quote request is not a booking.

Participants must agree their own scope, price, payment method, deadlines, ownership, confidentiality, and cancellation terms before starting work. Do not send passwords, bank details, sensitive personal information, or material you cannot lawfully share. Participants and the platform owner can access conversations for support, moderation, and privacy requests.

The site terms and privacy policy also apply. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The law of England and Wales applies subject to mandatory protections and court rights in your country of residence.
