Community guidelines

Be curious. Be useful. Remember there’s a person on the other side.

Make the conversation worth joining

Ask specific questions, explain what you tried, share useful examples, and give people credit. Show-and-tell, resource discussions, and collaboration requests belong here. Disagreement is welcome when it addresses the work rather than attacking a person.

Use a clear title and the right topic category. Disclose when you made, sell, sponsor, or otherwise benefit from a resource you mention. Do not flood discussions with repeated promotions, engagement bait, or misleading claims.

Keep people and their work safe

No harassment, threats, hateful abuse, impersonation, scams, doxxing, unlawful content, or sexual exploitation. Do not share private correspondence, personal information, credentials, paid resource contents, or copyrighted work without permission.

Describe potentially risky tools accurately and obtain permission before testing systems. Do not publish malware or instructions intended to compromise another person’s accounts or data. Claims about earnings, capabilities, and safety must be honest.

Public posts, private conversations

Your discussions and replies appear publicly with your creator profile and may be indexed by search engines. Avoid posting anything you would not want copied or quoted elsewhere. You can remove your own posts; removing a discussion also hides its replies from public view.

Service quote conversations are private to the participants and the owner for support and moderation. They are not end-to-end encrypted. A closed conversation remains readable to its participants.

Reporting and moderation

Use Report a concern on a listing, post, reply, purchase, or conversation, or contact hello@astra.directory. Explain the concern and the relevant facts. Reports are private to the reporter and the owner. We may contact you for clarification and keep a record of the resolution.

The owner may hide content, close a discussion to replies, remove resources, or restrict accounts. We consider context, severity, and repeat behavior. We do not promise a fixed response time; contact local emergency services for immediate threats. To appeal, email hello@astra.directory and identify the decision.
